Arsenal Watching Sterling Situation At Man City

By Daily Sports on October 4, 2021

Arsenal are watching Raheem Sterling’s situation at Manchester City.

The Daily Star says Arsenal are keeping a close watch on Sterling’s contract talks at Manchester City.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of the England winger, 26, and had an excellent relationship with him during his days as Pep Guardiola’s number two at City.

And Sterling, with only 20 months left on his current deal, is one of those at the top of the North Londoners’ list of potential transfer targets.

Talks with City over extending his stay at the Etihad are underway again after they stalled at the end of last year when the player changed representatives.

However, they are moving ‘slowly’, according to sources close to the club – amid Sterling's financial demands and his continuing struggle to command a regular starting place in Pep Guardiola's side. (Tribal Football)
