Real Madrid To Make Opening Bid For Mbappe

By Daily sports on August 14, 2021

Real Madrid are ready to make an opening bid for PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.

While inside the final year of his current deal and with both president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and coach Mauricio Pochettino insisting he will stay, they're convinced in Madrid that Mbappe can be signed this month.

Cadena SER says Real will make a cash offer of €120m in the coming days. Even if PSG reject the proposal, Real are counting on it leading to negotiations over a fee for the France international.

Al-Khelaifi stated yesterday: “He is our player, we know his future, he has already said that he does not want to leave PSG, he will stay. He said he wanted to have a competitive team and they can’t make a more competitive team than this one now.

“They have no excuse to do anything other than stay, they are Parisian and they will stay.” (Tribal Football)
