Former Inter Milan and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been approached by the KNVB about the Holland job.
Frank de Boer left his role after his side crashed out of the tournament with a 2-0 defeat by the Czech Republic in the last 16, despite comfortably topping their group.
Conte, who managed Italy from 2014-2016, is a free agent after terminating his contract with Inter Milan by mutal consent.
Italian journalist Maurizio Pistocchi reports the 51-year-old was approached by the Dutch federation over their vacant role.
However, Pistocchi reports that Conte would prefer to wait and take up a club role. (Tribal Football)
