Tottenham Slam Door On Kane Departure

By Daily sports on July 9, 2021

Tottenham chiefs are agreed that Harry Kane will NOT be sold this summer.

The Manchester Evening News says Tottenham have decided not to sell Kane this summer amid interest from Manchester City.

Kane, 27, outlined his desire for a transfer earlier this year and described City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne as a ‘striker’s dream’, but Spurs are understood to have privately agreed to deny Kane a move before the transfer window closes.

City reportedly submitted a £100million bid for Kane and were furious it was reported in the middle of the European Championship. Sources at both City and Spurs denied an offer was submitted, but third-party sources insisted a bid was made and that the clubs did not want to distract Kane while he was on England duty.

Kane is contracted to Spurs until 2024 and collected the Premier League Golden Boot and Playmaker award last season. (Tribal Football)
