Laporte Informs Man City He Wants Barcelona Move

By Daily sports on June 14, 2021

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte is encouraged by interest from Barcelona.

Sport says Laporte wants to swap City for Barcelona and is pressing the English club to let him go.

The French centre-back, recently nationalised to Spain, knows his market value is too high for Barcelona to pay, so he has to make an effort to make a move happen.

Clubs may end up doing more swap deals this summer, with less money to go around because of the economic impact of the coronavirus crisis.

Relations between the Blaugrana and Man City are good, so even though it’s hard to reach deals, there is some hope. It will be a long summer and nothing can be ruled out for now. (Tribal Football)
