NFF Responsible For Steady Free-Fall of Rohr and Super Eagles, Owes Him 7 Months’ Salaries

By Daily sports on June 7, 2021

There is great fear in the land today as Nigeria boils. Nothing looks or seems to be the same any longer and sadly even football that has come handy as way out has also joined the lot. Nigeria is fast sinking but to Lai Mohammed and his co-travelers in APC Nigeria is paradise on earth.

To be honest with you, it looks bleak in all facets for Nigeria and Nigerians despite the usual shadowing chasing instincts of this Buhari administration. For objective watchers of Nigerian polity it is not all roses presently for the West African country. Football also is fast losing grip and Amaju Pinnick and his fellow bedmates in the executive committee board are behaving as if all is also well.

NFF owes Rohr the head coach of the Super Eagles for upward seven months or more despite huge monies the apex football governing body in Nigeria has witnessed of late. The body has dipped its hands to settle government officials that have directed their searchlight to NFF to avoid being probed. We have the gist and will release that dossier as we move on.

This is no blackmail. Of course, it is on record that we don’t allow such in this platform and would never ever!  It is real and the top government officials that received such money and how much.

I am scandalised that Nigeria Football Federation’s continued retention of Gernot Rohr  on one hand and on the other hand the French Germany coach who despite the long months  non-payment of salaries to the coach can be thoroughly dishearten in all ramifications.

Looking at it objectively, Rohr is low spirited. He has not been paid for over seven solid months by his employers – NFF. How would he concentrate? Let’s us face it squarely. Honestly  there is no how he will  be empty stomached for over seven months and work assiduously for result oriented goal for the Super Eagles.

Super Eagles recent outings can truly be traced to owing of the technical adviser Months long salaries upward seven Months or more. There is no how you will work with your whole heart on an empty stomach for an employer.

Rohr’s case is understandable and whether he technical and tactically sound to handle this high flying team can easily be tied to his being owed months long salary. My take is to Nigerians of good should appeal to Amaju Pinnick led NFF executive committee board to pay this man so that he can harness the potentials and concentration to do this job.

The way and manner the team is performing leaves sour taste in the mouth. That brings us to the recent international friendly between Nigeria and Cameroun in Austria and result. You have also read the report of the game also the individual player’s performances. Truth is that Nigeria’s Super Eagles have lost her bearings and nothing concrete is being done to salvage it currently.

When NFF owes Rohr how it will come hard or call him to order to brace and move the team forward. The centre is no longer holding.  Super Eagles team is not and has no playing pattern and goes to each game based on hope.

The Indomitable Lions I saw against the Nigerians are not supposed to run away with victory against their arch rivals. Nigeria/Cameroun are one of the top rated football countries in the continent therefore any encounter between them are always top rated and expectations so high too.

The recent 1-0 loss stemmed from many factors chiefly caused by NFF’s inability to settle the salary of Rohr and let his mind be at rest and then his concentration and focus for the game optimally.

You see there is nothing you can say here or else where that can move this very arrogant Amaju Pinnick than anybody talking when he or she is tired will shut up.  This is the way we are now Nigeria presently. In larger polity the story is not different and that is why everything is drifting. Every supposedly public servant is above the law and can do anything he or she wants no consequences.

For football fans all the country reinventing the Super Eagles to a one stop team with our huge talented players all over the world plying their trade. Super Eagles must bounce back and nothing should be put as hindrance to such move.

Again one is at great loss to why NFF owes Rohr with solid sponsors that are meeting their financial obligations thus far. It is wicked to owe him making such silly neglect that has rubbed of negatively on the Super Eagles.

Super Eagles are not performing any longer. This is one platform i.e. football has served and would continue to serve as only happiness for the already dejected citizenry whose government is sadist ever. Amaju Pinnick must restore this lost glory of the Eagles. Rohr is not happy because he is being owed mMonths-long salary and he won’t be empty stomached to work or concentrate on his work.

While we are keenly watching and following the all that pertains to how Super Eagles would fly again. How its Chief Coach and other staff salaries and others entitlements are settled by NFF. It is not a case of lack of funds to pay rather it is traceable to wickedness and man’s inhumanity to man and what has come to stay as Nigerian thing. Remember once social media platforms are on 247 despite the madness and panicky measures by separatist Buhari government. We outlived him when he was a Military Head of State and this he will be outlived too and he would be dumped in the refuse dump of history.

This columnist and Daily Sports will stop at nothing than to continue to be on the part of truthfulness, steadfastness, authenticity and objectivity. No more, No less. Keep shooting hard till next week as the struggle continues!!
