Chelsea Go Cold On Haaland

By Daily sports on May 25, 2021

Chelsea have gone cold on Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

The Athletic says Chelsea have decided against pursuing Haaland this summer and will instead go after other transfer targets.

The Blues are eager to sign a new centre-forward this summer, with Timo Werner and Kai Havertz both failing to impress in a number nine role.

Stamford Bridge officials had earmarked Haaland as a target earlier in the year, with Roman Abramovich said to be throwing his weight behind the move.

But now, it seems they have decided against making a move, with Borussia Dortmund now set to play in the Champions League next year. (Tribal Football)
