PSG In Contact With Real Madrid Captain Ramos

By Daily sports on May 13, 2021

PSG's plans for Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos remain on track.

That's according to Geoffroy Garétier, when speaking on the Late Football Club.

He said, "Let's put everything in perspective. There will be very little money at PSG and elsewhere for transfers. One or two maybe ... So what do you do? You extend your players, you keep your assets. And then you are going to sign free players.

"Now this is how it works. Sergio Ramos is at the end of his contract with Real Madrid, he will not extend because he does not want to lower his salary, he even wants to see his salary increase.

"Florentino Pérez said 'we don't have the money to keep him, so he's going to leave'. He will probably be replaced by David Alaba, also at the end of his contract, at Bayern."

Garetier also said, "Of contacts with PSG, there are discussions between the Ramos clan and Leonardo to possibly conclude this affair. I'm not saying it's going to happen. But it is credible." (Tribal Football)
