Tottenham, Napoli Consider Move For Sarri

Former Chelsea and Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is being linked with Jose Mourinho’s job at Tottenham.

Mourinho’s future at Spurs has been called into question following a run of poor results.

RAI reports Spurs are looking at possible replacements, with Sarri high on that list.

The north London club are looking at the former Chelsea boss and would ‘like him to replace Jose Mourinho’. They do, however, acknowledge that no formal approach has been made yet to the coach’s agent, Fali Ramadani.

Sarri is without a club having parted company with Juventus last summer, despite leading the Turin side to the Scudetto – their ninth title in succession.

It is similar to the way he left Chelsea the previous season, parting company despite lifting the Europa League trophy and delivering a Champions League finish.

The same source also claims that Napoli are interested in bringing Sarri back to the south of Italy, with Gennaro Gattuso seemingly on his way out of the club. (Tribal Football)
