Man Utd Watching AC Milan Skipper Alessio Romagnoli

Manchester United are watching AC Milan skipper Alessio Romagnoli.

Il Milanista says United are ready to sign Romagnoli this summer amid doubts over his future at the San Siro, according to reports in Italy.

Romagnoli, 26, has been a mainstay at the heart of Milan's defence since completing a £23million move from Roma in 2015, racking up 219 appearances for the Italian giants and taking over as captain in 2018.

The Italy centre-back only has 15 months remaining on his current contract, nevertheless, and after being occasionally left out by Stefano Pioli of late it is believed club chiefs are considering offloading him while they still can in the summer.

United are weighing up a potential move for Romagnoli ahead of the next transfer window.

If the player is not interested in renewing his contract and Milan officials decide to cash in on him, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co will reportedly launch an offer to bring him to Old Trafford. (Tribal Football)
