Pochettino Will Try To Bring Messi To PSG

By Daily sports on December 26, 2020

Mauricio Pochettino is the favourite to take charge at Paris Saint-Germain after Thomas Tuchel was sacked as head coach on December 24, and it is thought that the Argentine’s arrival could help bring Lionel Messi to the French club next summer.

PSG have been strongly linked with a move for Messi when his contract expires on June 30, with the Barcelona captain able to speak to other clubs from January 1, and Pochettino has never hidden his desire to coach him.

According to Le Parisien, Messi could accompany his compatriot at the Parc des Princes next season.

Messi already has several friends in the PSG squad, most notably Neymar, but right now he is just focusing on Barcelona. Unlike last summer, he is not at war with the board.

In any event, the presidential elections at Barcelona on January 24 could go some way to determining Messi’s future, although all of the pre-candidates have said that the 33-year-old is in their plans. (Marca)
