PSG Encouraged As Dele Alli Baffled By Latest Spurs Snub

By Daily sports on December 23, 2020

Dele Alli has been left baffled over his latest snub by Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho.

Having played in Spurs’ previous two matches, albeit as a late substitute, Alli didn’t even make the bench for Sunday’s home defeat to Leicester – even though Jose Mourinho was allowed two extra substitutes.

The Daily Mail says Paris Saint Germain, who failed with three loan offers for Alli in the summer, are preparing to renew their efforts to sign the midfielder believing Spurs are finally ready to sanction his exit.

But Alli, however, has not been told of the club's plans for him when the transfer window re-opens in just 10 days time.

It remains to be seen whether Mourinho recalls Alli for Wednesday’s EFL quarter-final against Stoke City but Sunday's omission in a game where the Spurs boss was allowed to name nine substitutes looks to have re-affirmed the feeling that the 24-year-old has no future under the Portuguese.
