Head Coach of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Football Club of Lagos, Fidelis Ilechukwu has vowed that his lads will subdue Enugu Rangers on Wednesday in match day 10 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash.
Having failed to record a win in their last two league matches, the reigning Lagos State F.A Cup champion will host NPFL table-toppers, The Flying Antelope’s at the Agege Stadium this midweek in a match the young tactician believes is a must win.
Ilechukwu told MFM FC Media that the game against the Enugu-based team is going to be a tough tie but he remains optimistic of the three maximum points.
“Rangers game is going to be tough but we will beat them because we can’t afford to draw three games in a row, we drew our last home game against Pillars, drew Plateau United in their home as well.
“We need the game more than them because we have promised our supporters that we will get back to winning ways and we have been working hard as well and I believe God will crown our effort at the end of the game,” he stated.
The Olukoya Boys occupy the 6th spot on the NPFL table with 15 points from 9 league matches while the visitors sit in first position with 17 points from the same number of games.
