Manchester City Remain Keen On Koulibaly

By Dailysports on August 3, 2020

Manchester City reportedly remain keen on signing Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

According to Goal.com, the English Premier League club have identified the Seneal international as a top transfer target ahead of the 2020-21 season.

City boss Pep Guardiola remains focussed on bolstering his defensive options and the club have now set their sights on Koulibaly having already completed the signing of Nathan Ake from Bournemouth.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has reportedly opened the door to selling Koulibaly having staved off interest for the 29-year-old over the last year.

Koulibaly has been at the Serie A club for the past six years since arriving from KRC Genk in 2014 and is under contract until 2023.

In total, he has scored 10 goals in 244 appearances for the Italian club. (African Football)
