Rangers will remain on top of the Nigeria league table after they came from behind to beat regional rivals Enyimba 2-1 on Sunday.
‘The Flying Antelopes’ have now recorded 17 points from nine matches.
Against the run of play, Joseph Osadiaye put visiting Enyimba ahead after 14 minutes with a curling effort from 20 yards, before Godwin Aguda drew Rangers level seven minutes later.
Chisom Egbuchulam then put Rangers ahead in the 39th minute with an assist from Bobby Clement.
However, on the dot of full time Clement was sent off after a second booking.
It was a physical combat in the second half as champions Enyimba chased the game, but could not translate their dominance into goals. (MTN)
