Chelsea loanee Victor Moses and Arsenal teenager Alex Iwobi caught the eye of fans who came out in their numbers to watch their Super Eagles train on Wednesday evening ahead of a must-win AFCON qualifier against Egypt.
Victor Moses, who shone in Tuesday’s evening training alongside Kelechi Iheanacho, continued from where he stopped as he dazzled the Kaduna fans with his mesmerizing dribble runs and accurate shots at goal and could have scored in Wednesday’s training also.
Iwobi, who has fully recovered from food poisoning, was played as an attacking midfielder in the first 15 minutes of the 40 minute two-a-side game and later switched to play from behind the main striker Aaron Samuel and he did not disappoint the fans.
Iwobi forced the Kaduna fans from their seat when he delivered a tailor-made pass to Victor Moses, who missed the goal narrowly.
The 19-year-old Arsenal youngster sparked off a chorus “Iwobi! Arsenal!! Iwobi! Arsenal!!” from the Kaduna fans till the end of the training.
FC IfeanyiUbah skipper Chibuzor Okonkwo also proved his class in Wednesday’s training as he checked the forays of Odion Ighalo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa.
