Liverpool Eye Mbappe, Consider Using Mane As Part of Bid For PSG Star

By Daily Sports on June 22, 2020

Liverpool are weighing up making a move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe this summer.

The Sun says the Reds are growing increasingly concerned over Mane’s reluctance to put pen to paper on a contract extension that has been on the table for the past nine months.

Jurgen Klopp’s anxiety over the situation is ramping up and thoughts at the club have turned to finding alternative solutions to the problem.

One potential option that Liverpool are considering is to offer Mane plus £200m in cash to Ligue 1 champions PSG in return for Mbappe.

The Senegalese star has been integral in helping the Anfield outfit to the brink of their first ever Premier League title with 14 goals and nine assists so far this term.

Mane’s current deal runs until 2023 but Liverpool are keen to tie him down with Real Madrid and PSG keen on the forward. (Tribal Football)
