Keita Faces Uncertain Liverpool Future

By Daily Sports on June 19, 2020

Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita faces an uncertain future and could soon be on his way out of the club.

According to The Sun, the Guinea international is among six players facing the axe as the English Premier League leaders aim to bolster their squad in the next transfer window.

The Sun reports that Jurgen Klopp is running out of patience with the Reds midfielder. Keita arrived at Anfield at a cost of around £52 million from RB Leipzig in 2018 and has struggled with injuries and a lack of form for most of his time at the club.

Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Dejan Lovren, Marko Grujic and Adam Lallana complete the list of players who could be leaving Merseyside at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Keita, who has been capped 34 times by Guinea, has scored six goals in 51 matches for Liverpool.

The 25-year-old has made just nine Premier League appearances this season with just four of those coming as starts. (African Football)
