Chelsea Make Contact With Lille Over Osimhen

By Daily Sports on April 26, 2020

English Premier League club Chelsea have reportedly approached Lille over Victor Osimhen’s availability.

According to Le10Sport, the Blues will target the Nigeria international once the transfer market reopens ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Osimhen has been the subject of growing transfer speculation over the last few months with several clubs from across Europe said to be interested in signing the 21-year-old.

The Nigerian forward has been in superb form for Lille since joining the French Ligue 1 club from Belgian club side RSC Charleroi in July last year.

Osimhen has scored 18 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions this season and his rise has not gone unnoticed with clubs in England, Italy and Spain said to be keeping a close eye on the Super Eagles star.

Chelsea have already completed the signing of Morocco international Hakim Ziyech from Ajax Amsterdam and are also said to be in the running for Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana’s signature. (African Football)
