Keita Set For Leipzig Return

By Daily Sports on March 20, 2020

Guinea international Naby Keita could make a return to RB Leipzig at the end of the season.

According to German news outlet Bild he may leave Liverpool for a return to the German Bundesliga club.

Keita joined Liverpool from Leipzig in July 2018 and despite a solid start to his Reds career, injury has delayed his progress.

The 25-year-old scored three goals in 33 appearances for Liverpool last season, but missed the UEFA Champions League final due to the injury he sustained away to Barcelona.

He returned to action for Guinea at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, but this only seemed to aggravate the injury.

Keita has managed just 18 appearances this season, and with Jurgen Klopp reportedly planning a squad overhaul at the end of the season, Keita could be among those on his way out of Anfield. (African Football)
