Scorer of Ikorodu United’s lone goal that gave them all three points against Lobi Stars in a week three game of the Nigeria Premier League, Kabiru Balogun, has revealed the secret behind his feat.
An 11th minute strike by Kabiru was enough to secure their first victory in the premier league.
“I’m proud of myself, before the game I prayed to God that I want to score a goal, and it happened, I’m happy,” he had said.
“We are maturing gradually, this is our first time in the league. Lobi Stars are a fantastic side with much experience, but we came out strong and got the three points.
Ikorodu United now have four points from two games, after their 1-1 draw with Abia Warriors in the season opener. (newsnow.com)
