Edo 2020 Will Change Perception Of Nigerian Youths, Enhance Unity — ANFSC President

The 2020 National Sports Festival in Edo State will positively change the perception of youths and will affirm the country’s commitment to unity.

Mr Abayomi Ogunjimi, President, Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club (ANFSC), stated this in an interview on Friday.
Abayomi said that the games slated to begin on March 22 with athletes competing for 3,000 medals from 33 sports would change the negative perceptions of Nigerian youths to the outside world.
“To foster unity, progress and love amongst Nigerians, home and abroad, irrespective of race, culture, tribe, religion or political affiliation is our mission and we believe we can use sports to change that negative perception of youths in our country,” he said.
“I commend the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development for sustaining the festival which has enhanced sports development,” Abayomi added.
