The Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria (Club Owners) has sent a special season’s greetings to football stakeholders in Nigeria, particularly the Christian faithful as they celebrate this year’s Christmas to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a goodwill message to the country’s football stakeholders, the Club Owners urged them “to use this period of celebrations to pray for the development and growth of football in Nigeria and peace amongst the football fraternity.”
The association charged stakeholders “to come together and eschew acts like false allegations and frivolous litigations capable of bringing the game of football to disrepute, in order to give investors the confidence and hope to boost the system.”
The statement by the Association jointly signed by the chairman, Barr. Isaac Danladi, and Executive Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka rejoiced with the stakeholders and wished them a resounding Merry Christmas and Happy new year.
