FC Yarmalight of Gombe has unveiled former Julius Berger coach Loveday Omoruyi as the new Technical Adviser of the club.
He was unveiled during a ceremony held recently at the new club house in Gombe which was attended by club members, players and pressmen.
Omoruyi was presented to the press by the President and Chief Executive Officer of the club, Mallam Farouk Yarma, at the Conference Hall (Friday Njengo Hall) of the club.
Omoruyi will lead the team and also head the technical department of the club. Before joining FC Yarmalight, the gaffer had stints at Stationery Stores FC of Lagos, Sunshine Stars FC of Akure, Gateway United of Abeokuta and other clubs.
In his welcome address, the CEO of FC Yarmalight, Mallam Farouk Yarma, thanked the coach for accepting to join the club and encouraged him to discover raw talents within the club and Gombe state as whole.
He further said that the former Sunshine Stars head coach has a good track record in coaching and he has worked with some notable football clubs both in the Premier League and the National League.
“My main reason of coming to FC Yarmalight is to discover raw talents within the club and Gombe state in general,” Omoruyi said after the unveiling ceremony.
