Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club President Gives Kudos To NRA, LMC

By Daily Sports on December 3, 2019

President of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters Club Abayomi Ogunjimi, has lauded the Nigerian Referees Association (NRA) and League Management Company (LMC) for the high standard of officiating exhibited by referees in the Nigerian Premier League so far.

Abayomi Ogunjimi praised the NRA for the impartial way the referees have been officiating matches, which has seen teams getting good results on the road.

“It shows that given the enabling environment more of such results will continue to be churned out weekly.

“We have good referees that can stand out in anywhere in the world,” Ogunjimi told Daily Sports Nigeria.

He further said that with the way officiating is going it will soon be a thing of the past when teams cry foul about officiating.

Ogunjimi urged NRA to continue to ensure that referees are appointed on merit.

While praising LMC for the way the league has been handled so far, Ogunjimi called on the league managers not to condone acts of hooliganism as they are capable of bringing the league down and scaring away prospective sponsors.

He admonished LMC not to rest on its oars in making the Nigerian league one of the best in Africa.
