Plateau United of Jos mesmerising attacker Mustapha Ibrahim was a delight to watch when his new team snatched a point away from host Nasarawa United FC during a Week 4 NPFL match at the Lafia City Stadium last Sunday.
The attacker has promised to increase his goal haul against Delta Force today, Sunday, November 24, 2019 as they clash in Asaba.
The ebony-skinned former El-Kanemi Warriors star who joined Plateau United from eight times NPFL winners Enyimba FC of Aba, has scored two goals so far this season after netting his first goal for the 2019/2020 NPFL season against visiting Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi in Jos in a Week 3 game.
Yuga, as he is fondly called by friends, said: “I joined Plateau United with the aim of coming to continue my career as a footballer so far I am still working very hard during training sessions with my mates and scoring two goals so far is just a sign of good things ahead for me and my new team.”
The former Enyimba FC of Aba player is still positive that his new team will challenge for trophies this season. “I strongly believe we will keep chasing our dreams of winning the league again when we get good results in other games too despite I understand the nature of the game that it will take a lot of sacrifice and hard work to achieve such feat but with the Calibre of players in the team we can make it at the end of the season,” he said.
