Cameroon claimed a narrow 1-0 away success in Rwanda in what is a rare victory for the side of late as they build towards the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Cameroon have qualified for the tournament as hosts, but are playing the preliminaries in search of competitive action.
Young Boys midfielder Ngoumo Ngamaleu netted the only goal of the game on 71 minutes as Cameroon largely kept their opponents at bay for a first win in six matches.
With the Indomitable Lions having played to four 0-0 draws in their last five games, they will be relieved to have found the back of the net, and delighted to have also kept another clean-sheet.
Cameroon are top of the pool with four points from their two games, followed by Mozambique (three points), who travel to Cape Verde Islands on Monday. (African Football)
