By Daily Sports on October 31, 2019

Parts of Benin City,Edo state, will be on lockdown on November 2,2019 as big Stars of the Nigerian music industry including Murphy McCarthy are expected to hit town for the wedding ceremony of a grassroots football star and friend of the artistes.
Benin Warriors very talented central defender Elvis Osamudiamen (popularly known as Starzee) will tie the nuptial nots with beautiful Favour Yakubu at the Oredo marriage registry Benin City on Saturday November 2 after which a lavish reception ceremony will follow immediately at the lush green Igbinovia School ground at St Maria Gorretti/Dumez road.
Starzee is a tough tackling,no-nonsense defender who has helped Benin Warriors win matches and tournaments over the years with a lot of prestige attached to them. He is also a living proof of the value of a multi-disciplinary life,as he has combined his football talents with his love for music and dancing to become a very well rounded guy today.
As a fantastic singer and dancer, Starzee toured several parts of Nigeria and West Africa with music groups for performances for years, where he leveraged his artistic talents to eke out a living following a tough beginning.Today he is CEO of a record label and also CEO of a thriving boutique.
Murphy McCarthy, a close pal of Starzee from the days when both were playing football together in the Upper Sapoba neighborhood of Benin City, will lead a line up of artistes to grace the marriage occasion which is expected to draw a mammoth crowd owing to the popularity of Starzee and the music Stars.
Murphy Mccarthy is the CEO of Alleluyah Boyz Entertainment label and hails from Akwa Ibom State, though he grew up in Benin City where he released a street anthem titled “Araba Don Show”. His previous single “Too Risky” featured DMW boss & Africa’s number one music act himself Davido. He is also credited with helping in no small way the rise of popular Nigerian music act Zlatan.
Beautiful Favour hails from Okehi local government of Kogi state and is the daughter of Alhaji and Mrs Aminu Yakubu.
I have had the pleasure of managing Starzee's football path over the years and I have been very proud that he keeps upholding the right values I speak of including discipline, respect for people and  loyalty to Benin Warriors football club.
Everyone has a New Year's resolution and I believe Starzee's resolution for 2019 was to,at some point, settle down with the lady of his heart. Big congratulations to him on finding that special person and making the union official. We in Benin Warriors wish him a happy married life.
