Warri Wolves storm Ijebu Ode for Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre-Season Tournament

Newly promoted NPFL team, Warri Wolves, arrived Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, on Tuesday afternoon for the Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre-season Tourney which will last for six days.

Speaking on the tournament, the club CEO, Moses Etu, said the team want to use the opportunity for re-assessment after the dismal performance in Enugu.

“We are already in Ijebu Ode and we want to thank Chief Tonoboko Okowa for this gesture.

We owe him something this season for all that he has done for Warri Wolves.

“We want to use this opportunity to take a second look at the team and the calibre of teams here will help us,” Etu stated.

Warri Wolves could not participate in the recently concluded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa Pre-Season Tournament because the time clashed with the NNL Super 4 in Enugu.

The Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre-Season Tourney begins today.
