West Ham have hit complications over their bid to sign Emmanuel Emenike but are hopeful of completing a loan deal for the striker before the transfer window closes, a report from England said.
“It is understood the Hammers have agreed terms with the Nigeria international but have yet to reach a conclusion with either his parent club, Fenerbahce, or the UAE club Al Ain, where he is on loan,” London Evening Standard reported yesterday.
“West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is an admirer of the 28-year-old and is keen to bring him in on loan with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer. Should the deal fall through, West Ham may turn to Galatasaray’s 30-year-old front man Burak Yilmaz,” the report said.
