League champions Enyimba of Aba were this evening attacked by robbers in Okene, Kogi State, while on their way to Kaduna for the Super Four tournament.
A tweet from the club said: “We can confirm that our team bus was attacked by armed robbers this afternoon in Okene, Kogi State on our way to Kaduna for the #SuperFour.”
This was followed by another tweet that said: “Thankfully, there were no injuries during this unfortunate incident. Players and officials were however stripped of all valuables.”
