The technical crew of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan on Monday (August 5, 2019) paid a get-well-soon visit to the team’s ailing driver, Mauruf Akanmu, popularly called Warrior.
The crew, consisting the Team Manager Dimeji Lawal, head coach Edith Agoye, assistant coaches Yinka Popoola, Kabiru Alausa and Abayomi Adigun, expressed joy at the rate of Akanmu’s recovery.
While praying that God perfects his healing, the 3SC officials donated an appreciable amount of money to aid the recovery of the ailing driver.
The officials had earlier in company of other members of staff and players, paid a similar visit to Akanmu during which they, aside giving him money to help in aiding his treatment, also prayed for his quick recovery.
An elated Warrior, who could not hide his happiness on sighting the crew, said the visit, “which has demonstrated the love radiating in the team”, will further aid his rapid recovery.
He expressed appreciation to the team’s management, saying that the financial and moral commitment of the management to his well being has been helpful to his recovery.
