Chukwu Holds Thanksgiving Service

By Anthony Obaseki on August 6, 2019

Nigeria’s football legend and former Green Eagles (Super Eagles) captain, Christian Chukwu, held a Thanksgiving Service at St. Philip Anglican Church, Obe, Nkanu West LGA, Enugu State, on Sunday, August 4, 2019.

The event which attracted football administrators and other top personalities to the legendary Chukwu’s home town, was organised to appreciate God after a successful treatment to correct his health challenge in a London hospital.

The former Super Eagles coach arrived in the country last month after months of medical treatment in London.

Highlights of the service included the sermon, dancing by Chukwu and others, as well as blessing of the soccer icon by the officiating minister.
