By Daily Sports on April 5, 2020

Real Madrid are reportedly among several clubs interested in signing Boubakary Soumare.

According to Le10Sport the French-born midfielder of Senegalese descent has attracted strong interest from several clubs including the Spanish LaLiga giants.

Soumare came close to joining Newcastle United in January and the Magpies chance of signing the 21-year-old has seemingly slipped with through their fingers, with English Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool having also now been linked with a move for the Lille man.

The burly defensive midfielder joined Lille from Paris Saint Germain in 2017, having spent time in both the Paris FC and PSG youth academies.

Soumare has played for France at every youth level from U16 – U21, but is yet to win a senior cap.

Lille currently occupy fourth place on the French Ligue 1 standings. (African Football)
