All Set for Maiden ABC Sports Kit-Up Nigeria Football Championship in Warri

ABC Sports Development Organization is organising a one-week football championship for Under-12, Under-4 and Under-16 boys teams and academies in Nigeria, from August 2 – 10, 2019 in Warri, Delta State.

Daily Sports learnt that accommodation shall be provided for all the teams in school hostels in the oil city.

The date for arrival is August 2 and screening of players on the following day, while the kick-off takes place on August 4.

Registration fees for the championship are as follows: Under-12 N15,000, Under-14, N25,000 and Under-16 N30,000.

The prize money for the winners is as follows:

Under-2: 1st N70,000, 2nd N50,000, 3rd N30,000

Under-14: 1st N100,000, 2nd N70,000, 3rd N50,000

Under-16: 1st N200,000, 2nd N100,000, 3rd N50,000

In addition, medals and jerseys will be given to all the winners.

According to the coordinator of the championship, Coach Kelly, “everything is set and ready and registration ends on the 1st of August.”

He invited the target clubs and academies to “come and be part of this great competition.”
