The Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) has congratulated two of their FIFA-badged referees, Messrs Qaudri Adebimpe of the Lagos State Council and Celestine Efosa Igudia of Edo State Council, both of whom have been selected among international referees in Africa to officiate the football event of the All-Africa Games in Morocco later this month.
Kelechi Mejuobi, National Publicity Secretary of NRA, said in a statement: “The association is happy with the development and is optimistic that the two elite referees will showcase the rare qualities found in Nigerian referees that have always attracted the attention of the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
“While wishing them a successful venture, an elated President of the NRA, Otunba Tade Azeez, charges them to be worthy ambassadors.”
