I may leave Watford —Ighalo; eyes Manchester United

By Daily Sports on January 6, 2016

Days after ruling out exit from Watford in the nearest future, in-form striker Odion Ighalo has made a U-Turn, saying that he could leave the modest English Premiership side if Manchester United request for his services in the January transfer window.

An mtnfootball.com report quoted the Super Eagles marksman as indicating the change in position in a radio interview on Monday.

Watford had earlier stated that the striker, who already has 14 EPL goals to his name this season, is not for sale “under any circumstances”, but Ighalo is beginning to sing a different tune. According to him, “I am happy at Watford. I’m enjoying my football there and I have a five-year contract.

“I have also heard the speculations about Athletico Madrid and Roma, but I have played in both Italy and Spain and I now want to play in England.

“Only God knows what will happen, but I don’t think I will move in January. But who will say no to Manchester United if they come calling?”
