Delta Force Ready for Nasarawa United

By Anthony Obaseki, Asaba on April 3, 2019

The Technical Adviser of Delta Force Football Club of Asaba, Emmanuel Deutsch, says he would continue to work on the loopholes noticed in the team despite picking all three points against visiting Go Round Football Club of Omoku on Sunday at the Stephen Kesh International Stadium, Asaba.

Deutsch said the team, which will face Nasarawa United today at the Lafia Township Stadium in Plateau State, will be ready when both sides clash in a match day 14 of the 2019 Abridged Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The Cameroonian-born football tactician said their hosts would be a tough nut to crack but the Delta Ambassadors would be ready for Nasarawa United as they have what it takes to contain their host in the encounter.

The team, which arrived Lafia on Tuesday, would be aiming for a second win when they tackle the Lafia-based outfit even as they look to climb into third place in the NPFL Group B.

Delta Force Media Officer Jude Agbeyeke said the team, currently placed fifth on the table with 19 points, will also face Yobe Desert Stars in Damaturu on Sunday, April 7, before traveling to Gombe to clash with Gombe United seven days later.

The Asaba-based outfit will return to the Stephen Keshi International Stadium to welcome Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia in a match day 17 clash on Easter Sunday.
