Rivers PDP welcomes Super Eagles, wants total victory over Swaziland in today’s World Cup Qualifier

Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bro Felix Obuah, has urged the Super Eagles to go all out to chinch the three points at stake this evening in the World Cup Qualifier against visiting Swaziland.

Welcoming the Sunday Oliseh-led Super Eagles to the Garden-City of Port Harcourt, venue of the international engagement, the State PDP boss through a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, said the Super Eagles should take advantage of the prevailing peaceful atmosphere and face-lift given to infrastructural and social facilities in the State as well as the unrivalled enthusiasm of Rivers people in football to win the match and improve their chances of making it to the 2016 World Cup fiesta.

Bro Obuah recalled that Port Harcourt has a history of hosting international football matches which had brought both victories and fame to the country and expressed optimism that today’s encounter will also end in favour of the Nigerian side.

He enjoined all sports lovers in the state and indeed, all Rivers people to turn out en masse and oblige the Super Eagles their maximum support and prayers for a resounding victory over the visiting southern African country.
