Delta State-owned football teams based in Asaba, the state capital, are to use the Stephen Keshi Stadium for their league home games. The State Sports Commission has approved the stadium for the two teams.
“Once the league for both teams kicks off they will play all their home games here at the Stephen Keshi Stadium,” a source informed.
Meanwhile, both teams are preparing seriously ahead of the new season. Delta Force has been playing friendly matches to keep the team in shape ahead of the kick-off of the season.
Delta Force has a new Coaster bus for the new season while that of Queens will arrive soon before the league kick-off.
“The Delta State Sports Commission is doing everything possible to make all the state teams some of the best in the country,” a source said.
