Nigeria has moved seven steps downwards in the latest rankings released by FIFA. The rankings for November 2015 released late this morning show that the Super Eagles are now 59th in the world and 12th in Africa.
The October rankings saw the former African Champions at the 52nd position, one step better than the 53rd position it got in September.
In the latest African rankings, Nigeria is behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, Senegal, Tunisia, Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, Congo DR and Egypt.
Cote d’Ivoire is now at the first place in African football and 22nd in the world, while Algeria is second in Africa and 26th in the world.
