We’ll Get Somewhere This Weekend; It’s Two Brothers at War, Abia Warriors Coach declares Ahead Ifeanyiuba Clash

By Anthony Obaseki, Nnewi on February 3, 2019

Technical Adviser of Abia Warriors, Henry Makinwa, is hopeful that the team will get some points away from home today against Ifeanyiuba FC in Nnewi.

The former ABS coach, who is so confident that the team is poised to grab more away points as the season progresses, said: “You see, we have put our home draw against Gombe United behind; our focus now is this weekend’s match against Ifeanyiuba in Nnewi. The team is getting better with every match; if not for the rain in our match against Gombe we could have gotten the full points – the rain spoilt our game plan. Anyway, that has past tense now.

“To put it bluntly, if the teams can come here in our home to win us and draw us we too can do same. I know we will get it somewhere.”

On today’s match, Makinma declared that his boys are going to give Ifeanyiuba a fight.

According to him, “It won’t be easy. We are not saying they are pushovers but we have a team that can stand them.

“It is going to be two brothers at war – not gun war but soccer war.

“Ifenyiuba have not lost any game this season but we are going there to take point or the full points.”
