Nigeria will lock horns with South Africa in the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCN) final on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 5 pm.
The encounter is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana’s capital city, Accra.
The Super Falcons booked their place in the final after defeating Cameroon 4-2 on penalties following a 0-0 draw in a semi-final clash in Accra on Tuesday. Nigeria, who are the defending champions, had advanced to the last four after finishing second in Group B.
The West African side is most decorated team in the history of the AWCN having won a record 10 titles.
They will look to their star striker Asisat Oshoala, who has hit the back of the net three times in this year’s tournament.
Meanwhile, South Africa progressed into the final after securing a 2-0 win over Mali in a semi-final encounter in Cape Coast on Tuesday.
Banyana Banyana had reached the knockout stages after finishing at the top of Group B.
The Southern African side has never won the AWCN title before having finished as runners-up on four occasions.
Their key player is Thembi Kgatlana, who has been one of the best players in the tournament having scored five goals.
