Gabon international Aubameyang was fined £1,250 at Willesden Magistrates’ Court but escaped a driving ban, officials confirmed to ESPN FC.
The Sun reported that Aubameyang had been clocked driving at 99 miles per hour in his Lamborghin
It quoted his lawyer Robert Morris as telling the court: “He is very sorry he is in this position. He accepts he has no excuse.
“He uses his car to attend training and matches. It is the top of the bracket, but is not by any stretch of the imagination the worst case of speeding."”
Aubameyang joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in January, becoming their record signing in a £56 million deal.
He has scored 12 goals in 19 Premier League appearances for the Gunners.
