Abia Warriors striker, Chisom Chikatara has said his side nine-week old top flight unbeaten record will continue at Akwa United.
Warriors will be the guests of the Promise Keepers in Wednesday’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday 10 clash at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Chikatara said though the encounter is certain to be tough for both sides Warriors are determined to emerge unscathed from the clash.
“We will pick an outright victory or a point in the encounter as I do not see Akwa United beat us for the whole three points at stake.
“Our mission to Uyo is to keep our NPFL unbeaten record intact while we continue to push for the summit.
“The match is not going to be easy for Abia Warriors or Akwa United but we will always find a way to come out of the clash unscathed.
“Our victory at the state FA Cup final on Sunday has further boosted our confidence heading to the clash at Akwa United.
“We will continue with the winning mentality until we get it 100% perfect,” said the Super Eagles marksman said.
