Bale: Real Madrid are a better team without Ronaldo

By Daily Sports on September 18, 2018

Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale has revealed that Real Madrid are working better as a team with the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo left Los Blancos in the summer to join Juventus and he scored his first goals for the Old Lady on Sunday.

"Obviously, it's going to be a little different, it's going to be a little more relaxed," he continued. "I guess it will be more about the team, working more like a unit than concentrating on a single player."

Bale flashed back to the 2017/2018 Uefa Champions League Final when he came off the bench to score a brace

"I was angry, very angry, to be honest," he added. "I felt I deserved to start the game, I had been scoring goals, so it was hard to let go of the anger, and my anger prepared me for that goal.

"If you don't try things, they never happen, and I knew exactly where the ball was going."You can see in the video that my head is spinning to see exactly where it went.

Bale has scored four goals in the La Liga this season and he is enjoying a starting role under Lopetegui
