According to Calciomercato Manchester City is open to letting the winger go in the upcoming transfer window following their UEFA ban, and PSG has emerged as Mahrez’s destination of choice.
The 29-year-old, who is contracted to the Premier League club until 2023, has scored nine goals in 37 appearances for the Citizens this season – while chipping in with further 14 assists.
City could be forced to offload several players at the end of the 2019-20 season after the club were banned from participating in European competitions for the next two seasons after contravening financial fair play regulations.
The Algeria international joined the Manchester club from Leicester City in 2018. He played a key part in helping the Foxes to Premier League glory in 2016, winning the Player of the Season award.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations winner added another Premier League title to his collection last season, but City are set to lose out to Liverpool in the current campaign. (African Football)
