Deontay Wilder has made a $50m offer to fight Anthony Joshua next – with the two parties set to meet in the next 48 hours.
The WBC heavyweight world champion has sent an email to Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn, who is in New York ahead of the Matchroom Boxing USA card on Saturday night.
Wilder then posted a video on Instagram telling Joshua “all the money is in the bag”. The clip then showed Joshua responding, asking for $50m to face the American.
Hearn and American promoter Shelly Finkel are due to meet on Friday to discuss the unification fight which would see all four major heavyweight belts on the line. (Sky Sports)
