Osimhen Simply Unstoppable — Inter Legend Warns

Legendary Italy defender Giuseppe Bergomi has warned Inter Milan to raise their defensive line when they come face to face with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in a Serie A fixture on Sunday.

The Parthenopeans will resume their chase for the Italian title after the international break when they travel to face the Nerazzurri at San Siro Stadium.

Napoli, led by Luciano Spalletti, go into the match with a 12-match unbeaten whilst being at the top of the Serie A table.

Ahead of the fixture, Inter legend Bergomi has singled out the 22-year-old Nigeria international for praise, who has so far managed five top-flight goals from 10 appearances, saying he is the player Inter should be wary of.

Bergomi, who managed 517 appearances for Inter and spent his entire career at the club, also reserved praise for Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly, saying his physical strength is crucial for Napoli's backline.

“What a beautiful duel. Kalidou's physical impact is crucial. This year I see him concentrated as he hasn't happened for some time. He is someone who by physical strength, because of how he is on the pitch and how he reads situations, shifts the balance,” Bergomi continued.

Napoli are leading the log on 32 points from 12 matches while Inter are third on 25 points from 12 outings. (Goal)
