The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos Chapter, has congratulated the newly-elected Chairman of Owan West Council, Edo State, Frank Ilaboya, over his victory at the polls.
Ilaboya, a former Lagos SWAN Chairman, got the overwhelming majority in the Edo council polls held on March 3.
In a congratulatory message, the Lagos SWAN chairman, Mr Debo Oshundun, described the new Owan West Council boss as a leader worthy of emulation.
Oshundun added that the Owan West people have made the right choice by electing Ilaboya as the man for the job.
“Ilaboya is a listening leader, a man of the people and an achiever.
“We believe he will transform Owan West with his wealth of experience as a seasoned journalist in no distant future,” the SWAN chairman said.
